Morning visit to Bomdila Monastery and scenic viewpoints with Himalayan views. Drive to Dirang valley through beautiful mountain roads. Evening relaxation at natural hot springs and explore traditional Monpa villages.
Early morning drive to Tawang via the famous Sela Pass at 13,700 feet. Stop at Sela Lake, a sacred high-altitude lake. Experience breathtaking Himalayan views and possibly snow (winter months). Arrive in Tawang by evening.
Full day exploring Tawang. Visit the magnificent Tawang Monastery, largest Buddhist monastery in India. Explore Ani Gompa (nunnery), local markets, and Tawang War Memorial. Learn about Buddhist culture and Tibetan influence.
Long drive back towards Bhalukpong (8-9 hours). Retrace the beautiful mountain route with stops for photography and meals. Different perspectives of the same scenic landscapes on return journey.
Morning drive back to Guwahati (5-6 hours). Stop for shopping traditional Arunachal handicrafts, carpets, and souvenirs. Evening in Guwahati for rest and processing travel memories.
Check out after breakfast. Transfer to airport/railway station for onward journey. Departure with incredible memories of the land of dawn-lit mountains and Buddhist culture.
