Arrive at Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station. Drive to Gangtok (4-5 hours) through scenic mountain roads. Check into hotel and acclimatize. Evening walk at MG Marg, the heart of Gangtok. Explore local cafes and shops.
Full day sightseeing of Gangtok. Visit Rumtek Monastery, one of the largest monasteries in Sikkim. Explore Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, and Tashi Viewpoint for panoramic mountain views. Afternoon excursion to Tsomgo Lake (if accessible).
Early morning drive to Lachung via scenic North Sikkim route. Stop at Seven Sisters Waterfall and Naga Waterfall. Pass through Chungthang confluence of Lachen and Lachung rivers. Check into hotel in beautiful alpine village of Lachung.
Early morning excursion to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft), known as "Valley of Flowers". Visit hot springs and enjoy spectacular rhododendron blooms (seasonal). Afternoon drive to Lachen through breathtaking mountain landscapes.
Very early morning drive to Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft), one of the highest lakes in the world. Experience breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks. Return to Lachen for breakfast, then drive back to Gangtok.
Day excursion to Pelling for spectacular views of Kanchenjunga range. Visit Pemayangtse Monastery, one of the oldest in Sikkim. Experience the Chenrezig Statue and Skywalk. Return to Gangtok in evening.
Morning shopping for traditional Sikkimese handicrafts, carpets, and souvenirs. Visit local markets for cardamom and traditional artifacts. Transfer to Bagdogra Airport/NJP Station for departure with unforgettable Himalayan memories.
